I recently had the opportunity to work with students at DAVA as they create their own community based diorama inspired by my Utopia project. We discussed the elements essential to society and started to layout their new world. Pictured above is the community park which will be lined with homes for residents. This space will serve as a community gathering space for farmers markets, movies on the lawn and more. I will be exhibiting some of my recent works alongside works of DAVA students. I will unfortunately be out of town during the opening but this is a show not to be missed as the Ladies Fancywork Society will also be exhibiting some of their incredible crocheted creations.
